Toyota Stout

Automobiles

The Toyota Stout is a light truck that Toyota produced from 1956 through 2000, the successor of the RK truck, whose K series model code it inherited. The code was shared with the Dyna and ToyoAce semi cab over trucks, which caused confusion in the market because earlier Toyota commercial vehicles were sold by model code rather than proper names until the late 1950s. The Stout was effectively replaced by the Hilux in most markets in 1968. Production for Japan ended in March 1989, though production for export continued until February 2000. Generations with their own pages on this site: the first generation, K20 and K30 (1956 to 1959); the second generation, K40 and K100 (1960 to 1977); the third generation, K110 (1978 to 2000).
