The second generation Stout was completely redesigned in July 1960, the most familiar version of the truck. The RK23 plant, the Koromo Plant, was renamed the Honsha Plant in August 1960. This was the first model year of the Toyota Stout (second generation, K40 and K100), 1960 to 1977, which took over from the Toyota Stout (first generation, K20 and K30); the 1961 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Stout run from 1956 to 2000.
