The GTX was Plymouth's upscale muscle car, a Belvedere with the big 440 V8 as standard, a blacked out grille and plush trim, called a gentleman's muscle car. It sat above the cheaper Road Runner from 1968, lost sales to it, and ended as a separate model after 1971. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 3 generations: the first generation (1967); the second generation (1968 to 1970); the third generation (1971).
