Mercury M-Series (single generation)

Automobiles

The M-Series followed the development of the Ford F-Series throughout its life, with the M prefix for Mercury from 1948 and the same series numbers as the Ford F-Series trucks, differing largely in exterior trim and, from 1961, in a gear and lightning bolt horn button. It also included medium duty trucks, a bus chassis, a tilt cab truck and the first Econoline. Its model years run from 1947 to 1968. The Mercury M series was a line of trucks that Ford of Canada sold through Lincoln Mercury dealers, rebadged from the Ford F Series.
