Jeep CJ-5 (Willys and Kaiser era)

Automobiles

The first CJ-5 was influenced by the Korean War M38A1 and by its new owner Kaiser, intended to replace the CJ-3B but continuing beside it for years. It was a short wheelbase open Jeep with a Willys Hurricane four cylinder, a British Perkins diesel option in the early sixties and, from 1965, a Buick V6 that was very popular. Trim lines such as the Tuxedo Park made it more comfortable. Its model years run from 1955 to 1971.
