1963 Jeep CJ-5

Automobiles

The 1963 Tuxedo Park Mark III was another step in the line of comfort oriented trim packages for the CJ-5, designed to make the Jeep appeal to the general public, and the Perkins diesel remained optional. Kaiser's CJ-5 was by now several years into a production run that would last three decades, in a Jeep that the same source calls hard to kill off, while a Mark IV followed for 1964, and the CJ-5 continued to be sold alongside the longer wheelbase CJ-6.
