1964 Jeep CJ-5

Automobiles

The 1964 Tuxedo Park Mark IV was claimed as a separate model from the other CJ series, with more differences than earlier trim lines, and it was identified by a different VIN prefix from a standard CJ-5. From 1964 until 1968 Kaiser raised the Tuxedo Park from a trim package to a separate model for the CJ-5A and CJ-6A, while a standard CJ-5 kept the VIN prefix 8305 from 1964 through 1971, so the two could be told apart by the prefix of the vehicle identification number.
