Acura Legend (second generation)

Automobiles

The second Legend reached dealers in October 1990 as a larger, smoother car with a fuselage shape and rear-drive proportions made possible by a longitudinally mounted engine. A 200 horsepower 3.2 litre C32A engine with a standard six-speed manual or an optional automatic powered it, and over the years it gained dual airbags, a 230 horsepower Type II engine for the coupe and later a GS sedan with a six-speed. The Vigor now covered the segment below, so the Legend moved up against the Lexus LS and Infiniti Q45.
