The 1991 Acura Legend began the second generation with a larger and more streamlined body and a 200 horsepower 3.2 litre engine, offered with a standard six-speed manual or an optional automatic. Dual front airbags for driver and passenger were standard on the 1991 LS. The sedan came as base, L and LS, and the coupe as L and LS, and the LS added automatic climate control, burled walnut trim and body-colored side moldings, in a car that was larger than the one it replaced.
