The third generation Vios, designated XP150, for the Asian market was unveiled on 25 March 2013 at the 34th Bangkok International Motor Show in Thailand, with its design previewed by the Dear Qin sedan concept shown at Auto China in April 2012. In regions such as South America, the Caribbean and the Middle East it was sold as the Yaris Sedan. The facelifted Vios was unveiled at the April 2016 Auto China, and a major facelift with all new body panels came in 2017 and 2018.
