The WRX is Subaru's turbocharged all wheel drive sport compact car, begun in 1992 as a performance version of the Impreza for the World Rally Championship. From the 2015 model year it was split from the Impreza and sold as its own model, in a separate body style that is not offered as an optional hatchback or wagon. The name stands for World Rally eXperimental, and the car is known for its blue paint and gold wheels. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 2 generations: the first generation (2015 to 2021); the second generation (2022 on).
