The second Chiffon, the LA650F and LA660F, was announced on 16 July 2019 and put on sale on 25 July, with a new platform, a turbo model for the first time, the next generation Smart Assist and the Try SUV styled model from 2024. It had grades equal to the Tanto and the Tanto Custom, with some differences in equipment. It was made at the Daihatsu Shiga plant for Subaru and was stopped in shipment for a time in 2023 and 2024. Its model years run from 2019 to 2026.
