Lincoln Continental (fifth generation)

Automobiles

The fifth generation Continental of 1970 to 1979 was sold as a Continental two door, a Continental four door and the Town Car, with a major revision in 1975 that differentiated it from the new Mercury Grand Marquis and shared styling with the Mark IV. For the 1977 model year it became the largest mass market automobile produced worldwide. It used the 460 V8 until 1979, when the 400 became the only engine, and Williamsburg and Collector Series editions were offered. Each model year has its own page.
