The KL Cherokee was a compact front drive crossover SUV introduced for model year 2014 at the 2013 New York auto show, with sales beginning in November 2013. It was built at Toledo and, after the Dodge Dart ended, at the Belvidere plant, and the Belvidere plant ceased building it on 28 February 2023. It was offered as the Sport, Latitude, Trailhawk, Limited and Overland, and received a 2019 facelift with the 2.0 liter Hurricane turbo engine. Its model years run from 2014 to 2023.
