The 1967 and 1968 Imperials were completely new, moving to the C body unibody platform shared with other full size Mopars on a wheelbase two inches shorter, which cut weight and cost, but with a unique bodyshell. Limousine conversions now came from Armbruster Stageway of Arkansas after the Ghia partnership ended. The 1968 car was the last Imperial convertible. Its model years run from 1967 to 1968.
