March 1974 had the first completely new Torana body, with the arrival of the larger mid sized LH series, produced in four door sedan style only. It resembled other General Motors products of its generation, notably the Opel Rekord D and the closely related FE series Vauxhall Victor, and was unique in being available with a choice of inline four, inline six or V8 engines. Its model years run from 1974 to 1980.
