The LH Torana, the first completely new Torana body, arrived in March 1974 in four door sedan style only, with the same body available with a four cylinder option, added in May 1974, an inline six or a V8. A total of 70,184 LH Toranas were built, and the Plus 4 arrived in September 1974 as an attempt to move a few more slow selling four cylinder models. The short wheelbase four cylinder TA Torana was released in February 1974.
