The third generation of 2011 had a new 6.7 litre Power Stroke diesel V8, an F-450 pickup, a Platinum trim from 2013 and a chassis cab range, and some Super Duty trucks were built in Brazil and Venezuela. Medium duty trucks were assembled in Mexico under a joint venture with Navistar until 2016. Its model years run from 2011 to 2016. The Super Duty is a dedicated heavy duty variant of the F Series, sold above the F 150 with Power Stroke diesel engines as an option.
