Since 2012, because of government regulations, the Venezuelan F 350 Super Duty has been factory equipped to run on both natural gas and gasoline. A similar vehicle to the Excursion was sold in Brazil from 1998 to 2012 as a second party conversion of the F 250 crew cab. The Super Duty is a dedicated heavy duty variant of the F Series, sold above the F 150 with Power Stroke diesel engines as an option. Ford assembles the trucks at the Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville and at Ohio Assembly in Avon Lake.
