On 24 September 2015 Ford unveiled the 2017 Super Duty at the State Fair of Texas, the first all new Super Duty since 1998, while the 2015 truck was the third generation F 250 and F 350 with a 6.2 litre gasoline V8, 6.8 litre V10 and 6.7 litre diesel. Ford assembles the trucks at the Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville and at Ohio Assembly in Avon Lake. The Super Duty is a dedicated heavy duty variant of the F Series, sold above the F 150 with Power Stroke diesel engines as an option.
