Ford Falcon (North America) (second generation, 1964 to 1965)

Automobiles

The second generation Falcon, launched in 1963 for the 1964 model year, had revised, more squared off styling. The Mustang, built heavily on the Falcon's unified frame design, was launched later in the 1964 model year. Falcon television commercials featured Hazel as well as the Peanuts characters. The three speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic was available from 1965. Each model year has its own page. The Futura remained the upscale model.
