The MS-8 replaced the Mazda Persona and the Eunos 300, and was based on the Mazda Cronos, the Capella sedan of 1991 to 1997, sharing its dimensions and its 2.5 liter V6 engine with the Efini MS-6. It was a hardtop style sedan with a four speed automatic gearbox and a dashboard mounted shifter. Four wheel steering was an option. It was sold by Efini from March 1992 through 1997, and it ended with the failure of the multi brand strategy. Its model years run from 1992 to 1997.
