The MS-8 of 1994 was in its third year, a luxury sedan of the Efini channel, in the vein of the Toyota Cresta, the Nissan Laurel, the Honda Vigor and the Mitsubishi Emeraude. The Bose Acoustic Wave Guide audio system, a compact subwoofer design, was available, as on the 1991 Efini RX-7, with the stereo concealed behind a retractable cover and controls on the steering wheel. The sunroof extended all the way above the rear seat footwell.
