The second generation Chevy II had an extensive sharp edged restyle for 1966 based in part on the Super Nova concept car, with humped fenders on an angular rear end that recalled the larger 1966 Chevrolets. The 1967 model was a touch up of the 1966 car with safety equipment, and the Chevrolet Camaro of 1967 took some sales. Its model years run from 1966 to 1967, and it was sold only by Chevrolet. Its angular styling was based in part on the Super Nova concept car.
