The Cavalier received its first total redesign for 1995, with expanded dimensions and more aerodynamic styling that incorporated minor design cues from the fourth generation Camaro. Coupe, sedan and convertible versions were offered, with the wagon discontinued and later replaced by the Chevrolet HHR in 2005. By 1997 the Cavalier was the best selling car in the entire General Motors lineup, and it was replaced by the Cobalt in 2005. Its model years run from 1995 to 2005.
