In 2000 the Cavalier received a minor facelift, with bigger headlights and an improved grille, the removal of the Chevrolet lettering at the trunklid, the addition of a new Cavalier badge and new five spoke hubcaps. The first facelift came during the 2000 model year with new front and rear bumper fascias, which included revised headlamps and taillamps, and the Z24 still came only in two door coupe models.
