BMW 2 Series

Automobiles

The 2 Series coupe and convertible began in 2013 when BMW split the two door bodies off the 1 Series into a line of their own. The first generation, the F22 coupe and F23 convertible, was a rear wheel drive car with the M2 as its high performance version from 2016, and the second generation, the G42, arrived in 2021 as a coupe built in Mexico. The 2 Series name is shared with separate front wheel drive models, the Active Tourer, the Gran Tourer and the Gran Coupe, which have their own pages. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 2 generations: the F22, F23 (2013 to 2021); the G42, G43 (2021 to 2026).
