From 2018 some world markets also offered Subaru Adaptive Driving Beam, which allows a driver to leave the high beam on at all times and, in combination with EyeSight, adjusts a series of shutters that cover portions of the high beam to prevent dazzling oncoming drivers. The Outback of 2018 was the fourth model year of the fifth generation. Most versions of the Outback wagon have had all wheel drive as standard equipment.
