1969 Imperial (1955 to 1983)

Automobiles

The 1969 Imperial had Chrysler's new fuselage styling, sleeker with subtler trim, with the headlights hidden behind doors behind a full width grille and loop bumpers, and sequential turn signals only for this year. It was the last model year for pillared sedans and the first for the Imperial LeBaron coupe, and at nearly 230 inches it was again the longest non limousine American car. A total of 22,083 were produced, the third best year ever, and Armbruster Stageway made limousine conversions.
