The Savoy was an upscale trim of the Suburban station wagon in 1957, and for the 1957 and 1958 model years the line added a four door hardtop sedan. It remained the middle full size Plymouth below the Belvedere and above the Plaza, which was Plymouth's entry level car in these years, priced beneath it. The Savoy's name continued Plymouth's habit of hotel names, taken from the Savoy Hotel in London.
