1911 Ford Model T

Automobiles

In 1911 the Model T began to be built outside the United States, at Walkerville in Canada and at Trafford Park near Manchester in England, which made it the first car built by several countries at the same time. After the First World War it would also be assembled in places as far apart as Argentina, Japan, Australia and Denmark. The suspension design that suited it to unpaved roads, a transverse semi elliptical spring at each axle, was part of the car in every country.
