Toyota Celica (fourth generation, T160)

Automobiles

In August 1985 the Celica was changed completely, with its drive layout switching from rear wheel drive to front wheel drive. Toyota introduced what it called the ultimate Celica, the GT-Four with the ST165 chassis, on the Japanese market in October 1986, with a turbocharged 3S-GTE engine, and exports began in 1987 for the 1988 US model year as the All-Trac Turbo. The ST165 won its first World Rally Championship event at the 1989 Rally Australia.
