In August 1985 the Celica was changed completely and its drive layout was changed from rear wheel drive to front wheel drive. Lightly altered versions were sold as the Corona Coupe through the Toyopet dealer network from 1985 to 1989. This was the first model year of the Toyota Celica (fourth generation, T160), 1985 to 1989, which took over from the Toyota Celica (third generation, A60); the 1986 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Celica run from 1970 to 2006.
