The Dodge Neon was a compact car built by Chrysler for the 1995 to 2005 model years on the front wheel drive PL platform, marketed as a Dodge and a Plymouth in the United States and as a Chrysler in many export markets. It was the first compact car to become profitable for an American automaker, and the name returned from 2017 to 2020 on a Fiat Tipo based sedan for Mexico and the Middle East. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 3 generations: the first generation (1995 to 1999); the second generation (2000 to 2005); the third generation (2017 to 2020).
