The R/T model was discontinued for 2004. The Chrysler Neon continued to be sold in Europe until 2004. The 2004 Neon was the second generation four door sedan with the 2.0 liter SOHC engine, and the SRT-4 variant, with a turbocharged 2.4 liter four, remained in the line. The Neon was built at the Belvidere Assembly plant in Belvidere, Illinois, in its final years. It was sold in the United States and Canada as the Dodge Neon.
