The Durango was a small run two seat coupe utility pickup that Ford sold through its dealers from 1979 to 1982, a conversion of the Fairmont Futura coupe made by National Coach Works in Los Angeles. It was not the replacement for the Ranchero, though it was developed to rival the downsized Chevrolet El Camino. No official totals were kept, and estimates run from about two hundred to three hundred and fifty. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (1979 to 1982).
