The Durango ended after the 1982 model year, and no official totals of output were kept by either company, so estimates vary from the low two hundreds to three hundred and fifty, with 212 conversions known to have been made by National Coach Works. The Durango was a coupe utility conversion of the Fairmont Futura that Ford sold through its dealers in small numbers. It was built by National Coach Works of Los Angeles rather than on a Ford assembly line.
