The Toppo was a tall light recreational vehicle that Mitsubishi built from 1990 to 2004 and again from 2008 to 2013. The first two generations were derived from the Minica kei car and called the Minica Toppo, and the third was the Toppo BJ, short for Big Joy, with a wider non kei version, the BJ Wide. The eK replaced it in 2001, though they were sold side by side until 2004. The name joins top, for the roof, and noppo, the Japanese word for lanky. It was sold at the Galant Shop chain in Japan. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 4 generations: the first generation Minica Toppo (1990 to 1993); the second generation Minica Toppo (1993 to 1998); the third generation Toppo BJ (1998 to 2004); the fourth generation Toppo (2008 to 2013).
