The third generation Toppo, the Toppo BJ, was sold from October 1998 to 2004. The BJ stood for Big Joy. A non kei version with enlarged bumpers, a 1.1 liter engine and five seats instead of four, the Toppo BJ Wide, was built from January 1999 until March 2001. The eK replaced the Toppo in 2001, though both were sold together until the Toppo was discontinued in 2004. Its model years run from 1998 to 2004.
