The Toppo was replaced by the new eK in 2001, although it was sold alongside the eK until being discontinued in 2004. The BJ Wide ended in March 2001. The Toppo BJ of 2001 was thus the last year of the wider version, while the kei sized car stayed on as a cheaper tall model. The Toppo BJ was a tall light recreational vehicle derived from the Minica kei car. In Japan the Toppo was sold at a specific retail chain called Galant Shop.
