Mazda 323 (third generation)

Automobiles

The third generation Familia Presto was announced in September 1973, a month before the oil crisis. The saloon and coupe were updated in 1972 in Japan and in the autumn of 1973 for export, while the pickup and wagon continued in earlier forms. Mazda updated the rotary engine to a single distributor design in late 1973, dropping the smaller 10A. The Brisa B-1000 pickup began in 1973 and was the basis of Kia's first exports. Its model years run from 1973 to 1976.
