The MKS was Lincoln's full size luxury sedan for the 2009 to 2016 model years, first shown after the MKR concept at the Los Angeles show in November 2007, with sales beginning in June 2008. It used Ford's D3 platform, a revised variant of the Volvo P2 platform, with V6 engines including the twin turbo EcoBoost from 2010. It was built at Chicago Assembly and replaced by the Continental of 2017. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (2009 to 2016).
