For 2015 the MKS rear deck lid received chrome trim stretching horizontally across the lid. The MKS continued as a full size luxury sedan with a front mounted engine and front or all wheel drive, and a Cyclone 3.7 liter or EcoBoost 3.5 liter twin turbo V6. It was the seventh model year of a single generation that would be replaced by the Lincoln Continental of 2017. It was built at the Chicago Assembly Plant. The MKS was based on the Ford D3 platform with a front mounted engine and front or all wheel drive.
