The Landau was Ford's flagship in Brazil, a big four door sedan built from 1971 to 1983 on the bones of the American 1966 Galaxie. From 1976 it was restyled in a way that echoed the 1965 Lincoln Continental and used a new 5.0 litre V8, and in 1979 it became one of the first cars sold with an engine meant to run on ethanol. Production never exceeded about five thousand cars a year. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation (1971 to 1983).
