The Landau was a single generation, an American Galaxie of 1966 reworked by Ford Brasil and offered only as a four door sedan, though the American original came in many bodies. It became more distinct from the Galaxie and the LTD after 1976, and the later cars were sold in blue grey, burgundy and navy blue. Its model years run from 1971 to 1983. The Landau was Ford's top model in Brazil and the only large American style sedan the company built there.
