Ford Aerostar (single generation)

Automobiles

The Aerostar was a single generation minivan launched in the summer of 1985 for the 1986 model year, a rear wheel drive van with a roughly six foot garageable height that carried over design features from the 1972 Carousel prototype. It used engines and transmissions shared with the Ranger and Bronco II, an extended length body arrived for 1989, an Eddie Bauer trim in 1988 and an E-4WD all wheel drive system in 1990. The Windstar replaced it. Its model years run from 1986 to 1997.
