The E3 was one generation of six cylinder saloons that began with the 2.5 liter 2500 and 2.8 liter 2800 in 1968 and sold through 1977. The dual carburetor 3.0 S came in 1971 as a more powerful and costly model, and long wheelbase L cars followed, with the larger 3.3 L presented at the end of 1973 and fuel injection added in June 1975. Langley Motors in Thames Ditton also built an estate. Its model years run from 1968 to 1977.
