The 1995 model year introduced a removable roof panel on the NSX-T, which reached North American dealers in March, became the main body style there and replaced the hardtop coupe in most cases. To make up for the weaker roof structure Honda added about 100 pounds of reinforcement. The five-speed's second gear ratio was shortened by 4.2 percent, a lighter exhaust and OBD-II diagnostics arrived, and the first electronic throttle control fitted to a Honda production car was introduced.
