Wolseley 1500

Automobiles

The Wolseley 1500 is the small Wolseley saloon released in April 1957, a few months before the similar Riley One-Point-Five, with the Morris Minor floor pan, suspension and steering and the larger 1,489 cc B-Series engine and MG Magnette gearbox. The Wolseley produced nearly 20 hp less than the Riley, which had twin SU carburettors, and it was the more successful of the pair, with 103,394 Wolseleys made by the time production ended in 1965. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 3 generations: the Series 1 (1957 to 1960); the Series 2 (1960 to 1961); the Series 3 (1961 to 1965).
