Production of the Wolseley 1500 ended in 1965, with 103,394 Wolseleys made, against 19,568 of the similar Riley One-Point-Five. The Wolseley 1500 had been released in 1957 and used the Morris Minor floor pan, suspension and steering, with the larger B-Series engine, and it was the most plentiful of the pair of small cars produced by Riley and Wolseley. It was the last year of the Wolseley 1500. Production stopped that year.
